Here we are upon four years since Michael passed. It is quite hard to
believe it's been that long. Just where does the time go? He may be
gone from this earth, but he's definitely not gone from our hearts.
Below
are a few memorial poems I found on the Internet that I wanted to
share. I hope they reflect on Michael's memory.
A
Silent Tear
By Gaynor
Llewellyn
Just close your eyes
and you will see
All the memories that
you have of me
Just sit and relax and
you will find
I'm really still there
inside your mind
Don’t cry for me now I'm gone
For I am in the land of
song
There is no pain, there
is no fear
So dry away that silent
tear
Don’t think of me in the dark and cold
For here I am, no
longer old
I'm in that place that’s filled with love
Known to you all, as
"UP ABOVE"
*******
Never
Alone
Unknown
I
feel you in the morning
When
at first I awake
Your
thought is with me
With
each decision I make
You'd
been around forever
Since
the first breath I took
Now
I have to go on alone
But
for love, I need not look
Cause
by what you bestowed
In
our short time together
Will
last in my heart
Forever
and ever
Although
you've left
And
now walk above
I'm
never alone
I'm
wrapped in your love

Remembering You
Deanna Edwards
Remember me whenever you see a sunrise,
Remember me whenever you see a star,
Remember me whenever you see a rainbow
Or woods in autumn colors from afar.
Remember me whenever you see the roses
Or seagulls sailing high in a sky of blue.
Remember me whenever you see waves
Shining in the sun.
And remember, I'll be remembering you!
Remember me whenever you see a teardrop,
Or meadows still wet with the morning dew.
Remember me whenever you feel love
Growing in your heart.
And remember, I'll be remembering you!
“Remember Me This Way”
This following is a letter that I
personally wrote to Michael. I hope you enjoy reading it.
Dear
Michael,
Words cannot begin to express how much I dearly love you. You've
inspired me in so many ways. From that moment when I was a young
girl of about 12 years old seeing you in "Thriller" and "Bad",
until now, you've always had a place in my heart. Michael, you've
not only entertained me over the years, but you've also made me
want to be a better person. Seeing the way you showed such love
and concern for the world's children left a lasting impression on
me. I don't think I've ever seen someone as genuine as you are.
There are days I wish I could look into your eyes and tell you how
much I love you. At times I wish I could just throw my arms around
you, but I can't do that, at least on this side of Heaven. I hope
you know how dearly you are loved by your many fans throughout the
world. You'll always have a place in our hearts. Your memory lives
on with us.
Michael, if there's one thing I wish I could tell you, it would
simply be, "Thank you."
I love you more, my angel of my heart.
This candle burns to show the ever-present glow you fill my heart
with.
