A Candle Burns

A candle burns brightly inside my heart.
Its flame ever-glowing.
In its light I see your face smiling at me.
I look into your eyes and I see love there.
I whisper your name and a tear begins to fall down my cheek.
You look at me and say, “Please don’t cry for me. Instead put a smile
on your face and remember me as I am, happy and free."
A candle burns within my heart, its flame an eternal glow of my love for you.

Birds chirping in the trees.
I can almost hear your voice saying,
"Love is forever."
When the rain falls
and I call your name,
I remember that in my heart you will remain.

In The Night
Michael, when I look into the night sky;
And I see the moon and stars shining brightly;
I can nearly see your face in the light of the moon.
A moonbeam dances in the sky, and I wonder if
it's dancing with you.
A cricket chirps, and I wonder if it's
singing with you.
A shooting star glides across the sky;
And I picture it moving with you.
That's what I see In The Night.
A Single Rose
A Single Rose
A
single rose stood tall in a vase.
It's
petals a vibrant red.
Water drops like angel tears on its leaves.
It raised its head up high as an angel picked it up.
The angel placed the rose in a special place,
where
it would be loved.
Next to the rose was a simple card that read, "For Michael".
For the angel knew that a rose would grow brighter in the presence of love.
That
is why a single rose always waits for Michael.
